My favourite English Renaissance Music duet... This version is much better than Emma Kirkby's... Valeria Mignaco sings with her whole body. She is so incredibly expressive! Alfonso Marin's a genious, too. I'm a great fan!!!

@AcadiaMusicEditor Quite a few comments on their videos say ignorant things like that... That person knew John Dowland apparently. I'm not sure why people can't just enjoy these vids for what they are--gorgeous interpretations of stunning pieces of music!

One comment here states "...makes no sense sung by a women and it was definitely not the composer's intention that they be". Actually, the original notation, in Dowland's First Booke of Songes, 1597, no. 5, has the melody in the "soprano" or "canto" clef (middle C bottom line) labelled "Cantvs", with lute tablature and optional parts for "Altvs", "Tenor" and "Bassvs". On the title page Dowland states the songs can be sung by any voice part.

Wow, bravissimi!

Best version yet... the tempo and the words are perfect. BRAVA BRAVA BRAVA!

Incredible perfomance, guys!!! You're really geat!!!! When are you bringing your concert to Argentina???
Splendid.... I applaude your vocal interpretation on all these wonderful Dowland pieces, and the lute playing is enviable.

Randy: Smokin' hot! You brought the medieval current! Yeeeahh!!!
Paula: You look so lovely and beautiful, both of you. And you get better and better every time you perform. You're both stars.
Simon: I actually thought it was rather good. Certainly better than the rubbish we just saw from whats-his-name. You might actually do well in this competition.
