Texas de Brazil had it's premier tonight. Here is one fabulous wine angel! The atmosphere was first class and the food was Fantastic!
I want to go to work and hang out!
Update: Because of safety issues, many of the original wine angels quit. Apparently the management is not very interested in following procedures. I keep saying I'm going to write a letter to the Chicago Flyhouse which trains the ladies. Too many are quitting for the same reason. It may seem wasteful to change the batteries in the remote control every day, but it's worse to be 'stuck' up there and have to signal for help. There are also rules about how long an angel can stay up, they rotate between hostess and wine angel and are only supposed to be up for an hour. Angels were routinely left up for longer than the regulation time. This causes severe headaches, and massive bruising and callouses from the harness. So the final decision for her to leave was her physical well-being. Lesson: it may look like fun, but it is work, and if it endangers your health, it may not be worth it.
