...even though the technology you are currently utilising to ramble your ill-informed opinions would not exist were it not for many, many years of pioneering, very costly scientific research. I wonder if you would still maintain a similar contempt for seemingly unnecessary scientific advancements the next time you have an X-ray or MRI scan, or perhaps radiation therapy to kill cancer cells. I wonder if you shout at your widescreen plasma TV in criticism of science documentaries. Use your brain!

10 billion dollars on an instrument that we dont need. Wish society could understand taking care of one another is more important then personal ambitions. There are countless tragedies everyday and sickness, death and tyranny across the world. Yet it seems more important to the general public or there leaders, to satisfy scientists ambition which in no forseen way will help anyone on the planet in there everyday lives.
Whoever had the idea to spend there money on this should be killed.

J3D1FOOTBALL - You claim society should take care of one another and by the end of your comment you want the people who came up with this idea to be killed. Do you have a really short-term memory or are you just stupid?

And it's not personal ambition, it's humanity's ambition. If we were never curious about the world we'd still be hitting rocks together and grunting which is probably your favourite past-time activity.

Sorry man, but for me, matter and anti matter spreading all over, plantes creating, and on them , proteins and amino acids synthetising, creating evolution, by the physical laws taking effect on particles, it makes much greater sense than some invisible tyrant made ppl for his entertainment, and everything at the same time. I want to decide what is good and bad, on my own experiences, and no priest has right to condemn me. I'm a free, sentient human, God does not exist.
