@sheaofleaves124 No, it doesn't affect me, but it does affect the gaming industry. Mirror's Edge didn't sell very well as it is, so I think it's good how they took actions to stop people pirating it. And don't use the excuse that people don't have enough money, it's flawed in so many ways. I wouldn't steal a car, or nick a TV, just because 'I didn't have the money'. It's stealing regardless, so why people all decide it's OK when you do it digitally I'll never know.

@Bondytheecliff That's kind of a silly comment if you think about it. It's not like the pirates wasted any money to get the game, so "Serves you right" is an inappropriate response. Also, most of the time, pirates are either kids with no money or people that make hacks of video games. There's no doubt that it's illegal, but it affects you in no way, so don't criticize them (especially since that won't do any good).

When i went to uninstall the game cuz of me rage quitting cuz of privacy protection, it was sending me a virus, thanks to my panicking skills i immediatly force shutdown. I just saved my PCs life.

That's not how you prevent piracy.

You actually need to have a reason why buying 1's and 0's is better that copying them.

I CONSTANTLY die, for no reason. I looked through youtube, and I seam to be the only one, I can't walk for 10 seconds without dieing and thus I have quit playing for good. it's a shame 'cus I quite liked it.
