Mac the Ripper

This video teaches you how to download and use mac the ripper to back up your home dvd's.

Here are the steps:
1)Go to www.mactheripper.org
New Link! use this link instead and download it from here

2)Download the latest version on their home screen.

3)Install the application

4)Begin the application

5)Load the a movie

6)Leave all of the default settings on the disc screen except change the RCE region to RCE 1.

7)Next select the mode screen and choose a title only extraction.

8)Then go down to the title bar and choose the title with the longest running time.

9)Then leave the rest of the options to their default settings.

@below Run them through Handbrake ad anything that plays MP4's will play it. Also, the disc drive sounds like rednecks driving 500 miles in a circle. Kudos to whoever figures that one out.

hi - i have burnt/ripped (whatever the correct terminology is) and i can only play them on my mac. how do i format them from mp4 (i have previously used handbrake?) to play on my dvd player? thanks
