I am so pleased to have found this video. I have been using expression since version 1 (when it belonged to Fractal) and until now I had not worked out why Microsoft was interested in it. The key is the export to XAML.

first of yeah, more like illustrator...
secondly. it's microsoft so of course it's not better. Adobe is the complete forefront of all 2D graphical design in my opinion, microsoft don't even come close

Photoshop is much better... but for diferent use.

It only does vector graphics, so it would be more like adobe illustrator. I don't have experience with either adobe product.
