Giant Solar Airship

It only weighs 230 grams, measures 8 metres in length, and will fly to about 30,000 feet on a good day (if you can find a cord long enough)! The giant Solar Airship is like a gigantic balloon, it inflates and flies using solar power so doesn't need any blowing or pumping. All it needs is reasonable sunshine, and you can go from box to sky in a few minutes!

The airship is constructed from a high-density, lightweight black plastic-like material. All you need to do is hold open the tube and walk quickly, allowing it to fill with air. The film absorbs the heat and, because hot air rises, the airship rises too! It works on similar principles to a hot air balloon, only using natural heat instead of gas.

Even on a day with not much sunshine, the airship will absorb enough heat to turn into a jumbo sausage eight meters in length, on a reasonable day it can fly up to about 30,000 feet, just don't forget to attach the 50 metre cord provided! If you want it to go higher it can, all you'll need is a longer cord.

And, don't worry about keeping yourself on the ground, it'll take about 150-200 of these Solar Air ships to lift the average adult.

LOL, HOT air!! How many garbage bags do you need to pick up any weight? lolol

You could always buy a bunch of birthday ballons with helium in them and throw them in the garbage bag. That will float without the sun. But to pick up any weight, you need a lot of helium. Or my last boss, he was full of HOT AIR!

I think it's polyethylene. You can make them from black garbage bags. look up Hefty Basics with the thickness of .5 MIL
