Rick Rude and Vader vs The Patriots

late April 1992 us champion Rick Rude and Vader form their informal partnership that reigned terror over the company for the next eight months, Sid's arrival as Rude returned from injury in 1993 threw off the momentum (and quality) of the main event scene, and after giving his push to Sid, the company passed Rude over again when they put Flair in at Starrcade 93 when Sid was fired... a tragedy that still saddens me to think about the possibilities... Masters of the Powerbomb had nothing on this team... and the Patriots look lost in the ring, and with no crowd reaction (of even crowd movement on the main camera after the "hot" tags signaled the end of the team... Chip supposedly had a poor attitude backstage and wanted to be booked like and unstoppable power wrestler when he should have been looking for sympathy heat, and hitting quick power moves leading to tagging in his bigger partner...
