  • The beginning makes me think of Ligeti. But yeah, Bartok is definitely in there somewhere!

    The group's intonation was impeccable - which is saying a lot considering Ligeti's harmonic vocabulary. And their theatricality was great too!

  • i cant wait to see my friend's quartet perform this. The emotion that is conveyed through this peice is phenomenal and astounds me every time i here it. this is the pinnacle of quartet playing.

    Their intonation is superb and the committment each player gives to every single note is amazing.
