  • I'm really happy I stumbled upon this. My sister has had weight issues her whole life and I wish she was as dedicated as you. You are so awesome for this video. I hope everything's working out for you. Good luck! -3

  • @ashleybrewer1992 Thanks! 113 pounds lost so far, and 1 half marathon under my belt! Just love your sister for being her - pushing only makes it worse.

  • I do, I'm more worried about my mom. She has sort of become very...image obsessed since she lost her weight. In almost every conversation my mom has mentioned that I need to lose weight and I don't even live with her anymore. Lauren has asthma and she has taken up smoking. I'm just worried about her but I have never mentioned anything negative about her body to her. I don't see her much but I hear my moms trying to get her in diet mode. Don't really know what to do about things.

  • also, i suggest you check out Andrea Albright, she is truly inspirational and has some amazing videos about her weight loss story and how she KEPT IT OFF by LOVING herself and just being happy <3

    hope that helps :)

    PEACE AND LOVE,

    Sonia

  • honey, this is GREAT!!

I'm really so proud of you, you are taking ALL the right steps !!

One of the biggest things to weight loss i've realized though (something diet books and magazines don't tell you) is that your "health" has to be all encompassing. Not only in the food you eat and your exercise, but more importantly on the inside! When your mind is calm and not all stressed out, when you take time to just breathe and feel genuinely happy, that is when you will lose weight :)

  • I hear ya, I never 'see' myself as I am, never did, and wonder if I ever will. You are doing awesome, making progress, and absolutely belong in the gym!

Walk the beach, it's an awesome workout in the soft sand.

Next vacation you'll be rocking all those activities and more!
