Smallville Comic Con 2009 Part 6 - Superman asks Tom a question

This is Part 6 of 7 of the entire Comic-Con 2009 Smallville Panel on Sunday, July 26th, 2009. The panel included: Justin Hartley, Erica Durance, Cassidy Freeman, Callum Blue (Zod), Allison Mack,and Tom Welling (co-executive producer), plus executive producers Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson. Hosted by Jeph Loeb.

Highlights:
- Superman steps to the microphone and asks about the uniform, and tells Tom that spandex IS actually quite comfortable. Word!

- I actually get to ask a question for Allison (woohoo!) about any love interest for Chloe this season, and whether there is still a chance between Clark and Chloe...short answer is...it ain't happening...so sorry all you Chlark fans out there!

LOL, thanks...you have no idea how hard I was trying to keep cool while asking my question...and yes, Tom was staring at me!!! *sigh* but I wish I asked a good question for Tom so he could talk some more, but I couldn't think fast enough..next time I will come prepared with a bunch of questions! :)

haha, thanks, I guess! When I saw this video, I was surprised how deep my voice sounded...I guess I was trying really hard to hide the giddiness I felt from being able to ask a question in front of TOM WELLING and the entire cast of Smallville!!

I can't believe someone can still ask a Chlark question. They never had any romantic chemistry and how can they have a chance now when Clark has already fallen for his future wife aka Lois?

Believe it or not, there are still some Chlark fans out there, as remote as the possibility may be...yeah, the question could have been worded better but when someone asks the question you originally wanted to ask and then pressured to ask another question quickly, there wasn't a lot of time to think through the question.

and once again, whats with the staight out jackass name calling bro? Trust me, i work out all the time, Im about 6 2, and well built. My suit is high quality, I dont look like a jackass wearing it. I can barely make my way across the Comic Con floor because I get stopped so much for photos. THATS how much people love superman and dont think hes a jackass. It makes everyone i meet light up with a smile on their face, especially all the kids, and thats why I do it.

@SidneyXda once again you are speaking for actors and people you dont know. You apparently have a big problem with it, but not many others really do. I know there are alot of fans that take anything they love really seriously. Im not one who goes crys over issues on the show and make it run my life, I just want the show to end with him as superman, and i dont have to even debate that with you, its going to happen as we are already seeing.

I know he is loved and respected, but smallville is so successful because it appealed to the cool ..young people, the good looking characters, the awesome story lines, its like watching a cool drama but the best bits of superman myth without being superman. Superman makes a show into a joke. Lois and Clark adventures - the moment superman comes on the scene,catching the bad guys then dumping them at a police station ..it just makes it into a child show.

yep you r the guy that wears a superman tight outfit front of all those people without thinking that you look like a jackass. And then you argue with me saying what the actors like and dislike? lol . Why do you think Tom welling and other actors refuse the superman movie job? they refuse it because of looking like an absolute idiot when they wear that atrocious superman tights. ED said in a recent interview how shocked she was seeing some fans - how seriously they take it, she was embarrassed.

Look superman is one of the most respected and loved icons in the WORLD (real or not) and there are tons of Actors who would have NO problem at all playing the part. There is nothing embarrassing about playing that character, especially in costume. And lets keep thiese posts ontrack to the video, and not about trying to call me out for having fun and wearing the superman suit. Everyone there loved it I even got to sit 2nd row from the stage because another fan saw me and gave me their seat.
