Yes, there is a collective of Visionary artists around the world that includes artists such as: Allyson Grey, Robert Venosa, Martina Hoffmann, Mark Henson, Amanda Sage, Fred Weidmann, JSG Boggs, Luke Brown, Shrine, Oliver Vernon, and many more. Google Visionary Art.

What if the Devil was God? What if black was really white etc ad nauseum. Not everything can be nor need be argued both ways. Stating that your view(s) could be argued both ways is merely a kind of pseudo-humbleness. There ARE certainties in life, and True art being intrinsically linked to Love and high spirituality is one of them.

if there is no rules, then the idea of having 'criteria' is more so for preference. art is to philosophical to argue or debate.
it really is up to your imagination to define what art is.
coloring in a coloring book is no less "true" than art made by Plato. i think that if it is art to YOU than it must be "true'.

but of course this only what i think, and it could be argued otherwise.

If art went "the other way" as you have suggested then it would be the antithesis of True art. You are obviously lost in a world of conflicting dualities and what ifs, True art IS Love, so the suggestion that art taken in the opposite direction is still art is simply untrue. The understanding I have of art is not merely a subjective one as you have also suggested. You seem to be interested in arguing things "both ways" for the sake of it.

At the beginning of this video it states "Grey's vision of a flawed but perfectible mankind stands as an antidote to the spiritual malaise prevalent in much contemporary art" This suggestion of a spiritual malaise supports my understanding of True art and its love-based origins. Anything can be conjectured until the cows come home, however I have enough confidence in what I have said about True art to stand by it with conviction.
