This song has been uploaded directly from their LP!... I wanna be more realistic. ;) Enjoy...

She's one of a kind
Sometimes hard to find
Like a rainbow
Well, she's lost all her glory
And could tell you some stories
That we all should know

And there's too many hands
Being laid on her
Too many eyes will never see
That it's dragging her down
But you won't hear a sound as
She turns 'round

Her beauty all aflight
It always seems to turn the tide
At midnight

And for her there is no rest
We are doing what is best
For our future

One of these days she may not
Be so good to you

One of these days she might
Shake you to the ground
But her fire is still
Burning
And her heart is still yearning
To be found

  • I love this song, but it always sounded to me like--particularly during the instrumental outro--that Felder's guitar was playing off another guitar, but the other guitar is buried too deep in the sound mix to hear it too well.

  • Good for you, bucko. Glenn and Don are so tiresome.

  • Wow! I haven't heard this since I had the LP ages ago. Had it going through my mind today, for no reason. Thought this track was mediocre at the time, because it was not a big hit. This song is actually amazing work. This has a fantastic bluesiness with a spiritual kind of edge. The lyrics could have been about many things, and I can imagine so many jams that could come from this. There could be pedal steel. It coud be slowed to a L. McKennit type new age piece. A ladies' bow to Mesner!

  • Wouldn't mind hearing the LP version of some of the other songs from the album, especially Hollywood Waltz...

  • My favorite album from the eagles! Love One of These Nights!

  • Meisner was the George Harrison of the Eagles. Very talented indeed!!

  • Flick the switch dude, it's playing too slow!

  • Great tune!!

  • Don Henley is good, Randy Meisner is great.
