Since it was dreamed up in 1966 by Turin BMW Club Menber Mario Artusio, The "Stella Alpina Motociclistica Internazionale", known to us in the UK as the Stella Alpina Rally (or simply "The Stella"), has taken place in the Italian Alps every year.
This is a little teaser of our run down through France and Italy en-route to the Rally.

@black955tiger That was Steve's Yamaha XTX660 – too much "juvenile revving" (possibly started by myself!) in the mountain tunnels resulted in a broken chain. A quick recovery, a very quick mission-of-mercy to a localish bike shop for a new chain and a helpful mechanic and we were back on our way :o)
