From Allmusic:
Krystol performed a 180 degree turn with this third set. With the untimely passing of D'Marie Warren and the departure of primary lead vocalist Karon Floyd, the group was downsized to a trio. Robbie Danzie was Floyd's replacement, and she became the sole lead vocalist for the group's remaining two albums. Additionally, the production camp of Leon Sylvers III was replaced with several other producers: Randy "La King" Jackson, Michael Jonzun, and Patrick Henderson. Danzie proved to be a surefire addition to the group, bringing it a classy, yet very emotive -- and octave-spanning -- presence. Her performance on the stunning "I Might Fall in Love with You" (the LP's third single) is timeless. The powerful ballad swoops and sways in a very affecting way with a tight melodic structure and opulent vocal and string arrangements. More subtle, "Precious, Precious" is another lovely ballad. It reached number 25 on the R&B charts, becoming Krystol's second most successful single -- second to the funky title cut (R&B number 18). The non-single cuts aren't nearly as solid, but the vocals are polished throughout, making this a worthy investment, especially since none of the Krystol catalog remains in print.

  • Thank you for uploading this sing...it was hard to see all these other Krystol songs on YOUTUBE and not see this one. Glad somebody took note and posted this. I think this is their BEST song.

  • I was in college at U.A.P.B when this came out. I heard it on a station called WLNR in Lansing. IL. It was a soft touch station and these girls could blow. Reminds me of my cousin Flemon "Cook" Hawkins who was in school with me at the time and much older. What good times.
