I saw and heard the Astronotes a few years ago in a small, kind of livingroomsetting in Amsterdam. They're way out there! Absolutely astronomy, especially when it starts from virtually nothing up till the point of full blown frenzy. I also like this. It's a bit off kilter from the jazz I know, but I like the accompaniment and how the trombone wails through it all. It's real jazz, but just a slightly off...
