MIX MAGAZINE ST69 REVIEW BY GEORGE PETERSEN

Download the full text of the review of the Sterling Audio ST69 by audio expert George Petersen. He'll tell you:
"With a low $599 street pricing, I was initially skeptical about the Sterling ST69. But it sounds great and would serve equally well in a large studio collection or as a single mic that can handle almost any recording application"

Jim has rocked with Avril Lavigne, Weezer, Paul Stanley (KISS), Poison, Rebekah, Cher, Shakira and more.

Read your manual dude, we don't know what kind of mic you have-

-all mics can be used with a preamp

-most of the time you dont need phantom power (48V) on the preamp if your mic uses a power supply.

-check your cables and your interface cause most of the time thats what causes static

  • Those are all good tips, plus ...use a pop filter!

  • hey my mic is brand new and its making static sound i just opened it can you tell me whats going on also can i use this with a tube pre amp if so do i need the power supply and pre amp 48v on at the same time or no please help
