Picked a non-reverb HT-1 combo up today, I blows my Vox VT+ 40 away for out and out tone.

this is like aural sex...its bliss to my ears...i will buy this amp and since my 412 cab is a 8ohm cab, i can use it as my head... effin' right doggy ; )....this amp is beast....im buying for sure

@soaring138 82 as preamp and 83 as power amp.
-
will this work with distortion/effect pedals?

Great review, and a phenomenol amp. A telecaster would have been sweet. Jesus, fUkin les pauls. . just a barrage to mid-tone boringness.
-
this one is on my low watt hit list my great uncle has been building people 1 - 10 watt amps for thirty years finaly the manufacture realize nobody wants a half stack in the living room

hello, Blackstar!...
I have just purchased the HT1 R combo, really great little amplifier, I am very happy with it , thank you!...
I have a question : in the video preview it's been presented having the extension sockets for 8 ohms cabinets - mine came having written on it that it's impedance is between 4 - 16 ohms !.... that's means that I should have no headaches which cabinet I would use for the extension sockets?...!... :)

@klauswhitedreamer Yes, the HT1's can run ext cabs from 4- 16 ohms ( in fact the 8 ohms versions can too, they just reprinted the back panel)

I recently bought a Blackstar ht-1r amp together with a blackstar 1x12 cab.I noticed that the ohms on my amp is set at 8,while on the cabinet, its set at 16ohms. Would this be a problem? I noticed at the beginning of this video, you said that i can plug the amp. to either a 1x12,2x12 or even a 4x12. Can you please enlighten my mind on this? Cool demo BTW...Thanks!:-)

@johntreen101 Ok the spec's say 8 ohms but the teccy guys at Blackstar tell us it will work just fine with 4 or 16 ohms so plug away !!
