A woman bound in a wheelchair is shouted down at a health care town hall meeting. People yell at her and clap when she says she is afraid she will lose her home. There is no room for the truth anymore. No one is listening to the truth. One woman is protesting against the very health care plan she is receiving right now "because she deserves it". This is what we disabled run up against. Ignorant healthy people who don't think we have a right to our "insurance contracts" that we paid for. If you don't want disabled people whining and taking up what you believe are resources they shouldn't have, then go fight the insurance companies. Anyone in North America is entitled to their benefits but insurance companies rob us and we are forced into poverty. Why aren't those good healthy people protesting that?
