We don't have much to cheer about the majority of seasons. But by god it feels good to be winners when we do win. It's easy to be a fan of Florida, Ohio State or Texas. But it takes a true fan to stay with Miss. State through the thick and thin.

@olemisspike Why do ole miss fans always say, "more tradition?" You think tradition can be given a numerical value or something? Look, I'm a student at MSU and I learn about new traditions all the time here. It's funny how ole miss people grab on to whatever they can and call it "better." Tell me, what does ole miss have other than hype these days? Mascot controversy? Don't give me any sophomoric crap about better women or parties either because that dead horse has been beaten.

I was at the state/memphis game in 85.The kicker art cosby still holds the record for that kick at 55 yards in the game.It was amazing.
