i just love love love how the crowd cheers her on before her last pass and that they jump up to their feet as soon as she's done. so good to see a crowd appreciate a good performance and not care about the country or anything like that

@tomsk14 The lack of creativity and artistry I see in so much gymnastics these days, there isn't much more than tumbling acrobatic robots from so many of them anyway.

I know this is controversial, but I never enjoyed her gymnastics.
Yes, I appreciate how incredibly explosive and talented she was, but lets face it, she's an acrobat, not a gymnast. BIG difference.
Hence she only did floor....
Huge power, huge explosion, but poor dance, hideous footwork and atrocious landings.

i think she did 2 G skills in a row in beijing! -arabian double layout and full twisting double layout. and then her third pass was a double layout.
