In February 2011, actress and singer Lori Kirstein was invited to audition for America's Got Talent. She chose to use her vast experience with unemployment to parody two French songs - La Vie en Rose, and Non Je Regrette Rien.

Who knew unemployment could be funny?

Enjoy!

  • BREA4SHO - Thanks! I didn't last year, but there's always next year! :-)

  • The words: Find me work and make it fast, My savings will not last. This ain't la vie en rose. I have know-how that's quite deep, And yet I hear no peep, From those with yachts and boats. I have done all that I can, To network and to plan, And still I eat canned ham. Wait! $8 an hour my fears will allay! At 53 I can see a new way! So, today is a new day. At Wendy's I will use my MBA. No, No large debts. No, I'll have no more large debts... etc (ran out of room!)
