After 20+ years of this song being my favorite bass line ever (yes, ever), I finally sat down the other night with my little practice amp and this track and took about an hour and a half noodling it out. Just like when I was 15 and wanted to learn something, I was happy to find it still isn't that tough when you break it down. I got it as true to the original as possible without cutting corners, improvisations or embellishment.

@iruyle Ahahahah I'm sorry, my english is not very good, I wrote "lady" without thinking to the real word's meaning. A girl that play Footloose using a B.C.Rich is perfect, regardless of the legs she has! However, your legs are fine . :D

This is a great version of this tune! I've just joined a new cover band and was surprised at how difficult this bass line is, even as a seasoned pro who plays for a living. Thanks for showing me.

I'm a guitar player, but I follow so many users that play songs with a cool groove for bass or drums. Surely this is one of the best! Very good job, congratulations lady! ;)
