The image of lightning is a reflection within the camera. It happens all the time and makes the lightning appear closer than it is. Also the audio on this video has been adjusted to make the thunder appear to be at the same time as the lightning.
There are loads of videos on Youtube of the same thing, sadly they aren't really showing lightning striking within a few feet of the camera.
If a bolt really hit that close you'd know all about it, or wake up in hospital afterwards, if you're lucky.

Those were positive upward streamers coming up from the ground. If one of them connected, you would have really got the shock of you life!

if you use your space bar after full screening it to slow mo and pause...very interesting that it strikes twice in the exact same shape.
You need to know about TESLA and man made ligtening.
