heres a speed sample of the canon 430EXII speedlite on the canon 50D with the extra grip. keep in mind that iv take over 100 pics in the past hour on full power with it not to mention a whole bunch before so the batts should be low its it still can kick like a mule

  • @Busterrrrr yes , when you set the camera to manual focus it shoot alot fater

  • mind telling me how do you setup settings to make it fire that quick ?..... 

    is the mcamera on "M" mode ?

  • thank you for the tip, i dident know that, and ya i can feel it get hot sometimes, but lots of times i shoot out doors and at this time its like -3 or so, so i dont worry about it heating up cuz it gets cooled down quick

  • * To avoid overheating and degrading the flash head, do not fire more than 20 continuous flashes. After 20 continuous flashes, allow a rest time of at least 10 min.

    * If you fire more than 20 continuous flashes and then fire more flashes in short intervals, the inner overheating prevention function may be activated to make the recycling time about 8 to

    20 sec. If this occurs, allow a rest time of about 15 min. and the flash will then return to normal."
