  • what i find interesting about this discussion is that the history of palestine begins with the zionist movement.. strange, dont you think?

  • "a land without people..." - this was the british argument. the jewish one was that israel was their original homelane, which still had their old cities - jerusalem, hebron, nablus, zafad, bethlehem, tiberius and others.

The term chosen people does not mean one is better than another. In the Torah, the story is about G-d choosing the Jews to receive the Torah and become one of all the special peoples in the world, to be a Kingdom of Priests and a holy nation and a light unto the world. Not because G-d promises they are better or they are the only ones to get into heaven.

Well, with all due respect, to me Zionism, means simply this: the belief in the self-detemination of the Jewish people in their ancestral homeland, in a state that is really democratic and equal for all citizens, while also being a safe haven for the Jewish people. Don't get me wrong Israel has seriously screwed up policies that need to change. I dont agree with the occupation/settlements, but dont look at all Zionists the same way, I dont lust for greed or evil.

  • @MrChickybee1 : It could not be a God.. Which chooses between its own creations...

  • A jewish homeland in their former homeland

  • thanks for this vid.. interesting convo, i learnt more from it.

  • Zionism is not a religion; it is a power cult that represents the pure embodiment of greed and evil. It is an arrogance towards all others that are not part of their cult.
