This project was a tribute to Duke Ellington with orchestrated disco compositions from him. On the back of the album there is a story with every track. Like 'Moon Maiden' written by Duke in 1969...

This is on the Salsoul Label. Short story= I was in the Paradise Garage on a Sunday morning tripping out of  my head and Larry Levan put this on, I said what the h@LL is that and danced but the kicker was when I got home and read Dick Tracy in the funnies The charachter Moon Maiden had died. I knew then that Larry was a genius!

This song propells me into the upper stratosphere of the "way out there in the blue" region of the universe. I feel like I can fly!! Gravity has no hold on me. PLEASE let me know where I can get this song on disc. I remember it I think I know who published it. It is an emergency.
