Singapore Garden Festival 2010 - Agnes Daval & Gabriel Milochau (France)

AGNÈS DAVAL & GABRIEL MILOCHAU (FRANCE) are award-winning designers from the landscape and design studio Digitale Paysage. Prior to this, Agnès was a teacher in the design department of the School of Art and Design of Strasbourg. Agnès believes that as a designer, she has a responsibility to protect the natural surroundings in her garden designs. She also feels that her gardens should have a social dimension to improve peoples lives, and to provide them with a sanctuary where one can enjoy and reside in. An example of this is her work in a touristic area near Vesoul in the east of France, where she is trying to create a place that combines both nature and sustainable development with leisure.
