Monal is a rare beautiful bird found in Himachal Himalayas. This video was captured in Manali , (Himachal Pradesh-INDIA) "Van Vihar" to introduce tourists with different bird species found in this part of world. The pair of Monals were seen wandering here and there in cage which showed some helplessness in captivity. There was lesser details regarding habitat of these birds and their captivity didnt seem to bear any significance as far as nature preservation is concened. The bird was earlier hunted for its beautiful feathers and adorning crown feather over head part used for decorating traditional Himachal caps !

am from Himaliya
means am living just few kilometers away from K-2 Pakistan (World largest mountain) just 9 kilometers
i know this bird gona really rare in this region although a lot of snow leopards still exists but this bird is in danger please bring back and release them here again
we need hundred of pairs again to re-wild them here now it's upto you
