I don't understand why the media or some people refer to actors, singers, etc; as idols. I can appreciate their talent but I appreciate a mother, bus driver, my neighbors gift of growing beautiful flowers. So many, they are countless. Only difference is fame & more money. Its what cannot be bought that counts. Fame and fortune does NOT make people any more happy or sad. After all, they're human and equal. Not more or less. Same with homeless. Equal.

I remember that call. I felt so bad for him. It's bad enough to have lost a brother, but to hear your phone call over & over again on all the news channels, I can't imagine how that must have been. I'll never forget River Phonix. The first time I ever remember seeing River Phonix was in the movie called "Stand By Me" & I actually followed his career after that, but I couldn't be just like him because I like to eat meat, only I do appreciate his efforts.I also miss seeing River Phonix.
