  • Have a listen to "glow world" (Bill Nelson) and "heads we're dancing" (Kate Bush) for some more awesome fretless work by mick.

  • yeah got all of kates stuff...was gonna post a few on..when i suss how (new phone)...love bass on mother stands for comfort...........micks line on HWD is top draw

  • u need mick to help but not that bad really just souds heavy on the ears mate i love mick karn and his stuff ..........tone down and get some control

  • the clues in the 20 watt amp,and no wal,and recorded on a phone...

  • When you're doing these videos you should buy a drum machine and try to get the beat to go along with your bass playing.

By the way I hate you for being able to play this. I could play Art Of Parties, Life In Tokyo and some other Japan songs but could never get anywhere near as you have on this. keep them coming. I look forward to hearing more.

  • Cracking stuff. Holds up on it's own.

  • Great stuff!!!

  • @mintwithahole - Perhaps you can post some videos of you playing like Jansen and Life in Tokyo, etc, on the bass? Be interesting to hear.

  • Nice flange sound-- what kind is it?

  • nice work.

  • You nailed it. Brilliant.

  • Both tracks on youtube.

  • Good job as usual man. The more people get into what mick Karn was and is doing, the better!

Your vids make it clear that it CAN be done.
