John Russell Speech To The "Oath Keepers" Inaugural Event, Gaslight Park Tampa 21 May 2009 PART 1

John Russell, a populist progressive activist and 2006 and 2008 Democratic nominee in Florida's 5th Congressional District provides documentary evidence of the inherent corruption of our political system.




The two party system "herds" the people into one camp or the other, stifling ideas that do not conform to the "establishment plan" through which powerful interests control our political system for their benefit at the expense of the people.




This event included people from all political points of view and offered those in attendance who may have differed on a particular issue, a forum to voice their concerns. These patriots had decided to set aside their areas of disagreement in recognition of their alliance concerning the broader and much more important concerns regarding the lost foundation of the American political system that remains today.




The opportunity to speak was offered to ANYONE in attendance and in particular Veterans. District 10 Republican Congressional Candidate Mr. Eddie Adams was one who spoke.




It later became apparent that a somewhat paranoid and novice candidate for Florida's 5th Congressional District in 2010 was in attendance as he verbally accosted John Russell stating that "John was a candidate for congress and was somehow violating laws by making speeches."




If this candidate thought that John was a candidate then why did he not take the opportunity to speak publicly and voice his "take" on the politics of the day from his perspective. Please watch this video Part 1, and then 2 which is only about 4 minutes in duration and make your own determination as to whether John makes any statement about being a congressional candidate for 2010.




John reserves however his right to declare his candidacy as a citizen at some time in the future if John decides to do so. John to date has taken no action as a candidate, has closed his campaign account with the Federal Election Commission several months ago, is not collecting campaign contributions and has made no announcement via press release or on his website. But watch the video and you be the judge...

John describes his experience with the corporate media, providing examples of how the media was complicit in publishing stories about himself and others that were patently false or were gross misrepresentations of material fact in working to damage his credibility related to the constitutional license provided the press to "err" or slander and remain beyond reproach.

John is encouraged by this fledgling alliance of people arising from diverse political perspectives who have recognized the precarious position ordinary Americans are in relationship to Corporate America when it comes to representation in Washington as well as state capitols across this nation. We closed our event by taking an oath to Protect and Defend The United States Constitution. What could be more American than that?

The problem with the third party is the fact that they leach votes from the republicans. A third party gave us the Clintons. I agree that both parties have huge problems. The republican lost their way, by trying to be centrist instead of being conservative in their spending and actions. But they are still a Damn site better than whats in charge now. This last election was because conservatives and republicans stayed home instead of voting for McCain.

I know. So what does one do? I feel as if we are had. I have faught from my computer, voting booths, phone and fax for 4 yrs. They truely do not care. They know no matter what, they win. Militarily. How can anyone go against Canda and Mexicos military? They know they don't have to listen anymore. Thier agenda is about to be completed. But its not over yet and INDEPENDANTLY (and united) we can take our country back. The parties must be a thing of the past. BOTH have let America down.

It's so true, but arguing this point to staunch democrats and republicans who vote is like lecturing to a brick wall. It doesn't matter what evidence you bring in to support your position.

It's an uphill battle.

Toss out BOTH parties and everyone vote Independant. WE should chose who runs and who we want to lead. NOT the media! Not the politions. WE THE People need to chose who runs and take our country back from the criminals who are committting treason in this contry!
