Some features of IR Shell

First thing: I did not discover this. My friend told me about it and I tried it. So credit goes to sorakeybade. Thanks! These are some features of IR Shell on PSP. My firmware was 3.90 M33-3. To get IR Shell, first download IR Shell, then put it on the root of your mem stick and put IR2x3x in GAME, then put the remotes in the root, then download the 3.90 patch. It's too complicated to explain right here, and I don't remember how it worked.

NOTE: This has been asked multiple times: Does it work on Slim & Lite?
You can put IRShell on Slim PSP and you can use the multitasker, but the IR remotes will not work on it.

can some one help me ... i hav irshell installed and workign just 1 problem ... when i fully turn off my psp and on again irshell still seems to be shown insted of the normal psp screen xmb thing or woteva its called .. does any1 no how to change that .. plzzzzzzzzzzz helpp

To fix this, turn on your PSP into recovery mode. (After fully turning it off, hold R while turning it on) Now scroll down to Plugins. You should see at least one. One will be irsautoboot.prx (Enabled). Click on that once and it should change to (Disabled). Hit back, and you can see if it's all better now.

is it posible to use the PSP as a remote control or joystick for the PS2 ???

Yeah, you can, but it doesn't work too well for a few reasons: no analog sticks, slower reaction time, and you really can't hold a button for continuous effect. (by this i mean you'd never be able to move around in RPGs if you know what I mean)

@Superunii It can also do things like multitasking, also known as listening to music while playing games, use bookr's txt reader to look up a faq if you are etuck in a game with out turning on the computer etc.
