One thing the L85 A1 did do was shoot straight. I could not hit a banjo with a barn door with the SLR !

@MrRWJP Handled it!.I watched those poor Germans try and fix it, im sorry but this gun is substandard and as an Australian leaves me wondering if the English know anything about firearms.The Aug is a tough gun though somtimes it can be used as a water flask the Aussies, Kiwis,Irish and even the Falkland islanders chose it over the SA80,all these nations follow the UK in every thing but when it came to that gun they just could not accept it.

Sure the A1s were seriously dodgy, but the A2s are generally regarded as one of the best rifles out there.
