If anyone's ever seen Kovalchuk, they know he can fight. He and Pavel Datsyuk are the two most underrated fighters/hitters in the NHL. I've seen Datsyuk dump Chara on his back and beat the shit out of Corey Perry. Kovalchuk has dropped McCabe and Schenn and made it look easy. You don't fuck with those two. Where's Don Cherry to eat crow over guys like these? Idiot bigot.
