It's time to focus on reality, not rhetoric. It's time to get serious about energy prices, and energy independence. Now is the time to move America forward with reliable, affordable, energy independence from America's power: Coal. The clock is ticking, America. Now is the time.

    -Coal is non-renewable energy source.

-Coal as the other fossil fuels as well isn't ecologically acceptable because of CO2 and global warming.

-Coal usually has a negative impact on environment, mining can damage ground and surface waters and when coal burns as the fuel it releases CO2 which is the main greenhouse gas that causes global warming.

-coal particulates pollution are estimated to shorten approximately 24,000 lives a year in the United States.

Clean energy is windmills, and solar. And as someone mentioned, you need many more windmills to equal the power of a power plant. That is why we should focus on technology for something we can keep developing, such as wind and solar energy, rather than dirty, quickly-disappearing oil, gas, and natural gas (which is clean, except for the fact that it is non-renewable, and then we have fracking...).

There IS no clean coal is the point. Clean energy is renewable-not coal- clean energy burns clean-not coal- and clean energy isn't sold by people like you. You should start selling clean energy, not "clean" energy, and the time is ticking...
