  • @over18jazz This exact same thing happened to me when I started shooting my spring gun. Good gun, nice scope mounted properly... but still big groups, really frustrating! Try this: Hold the gun very lightly, dont grip it tight. Dont rest the gun directly on the sandbag. Rest the stock forearm on the open palm of your hand (you can rest the back of your hand on the sandbag). Press your cheek lightly against the stock. Allow the gun to recoil freely as it fires and hold it the same way every time.

  • Thanks for acepting the vid responce mate. love watching this dvd, alway make me want to grab my rifle and get out in the field

  • @gluepot66 smk 3,9x40 scope

  • @ttrdytduy what make and model scope you got?

  • @carnigourousplotting You need to buy a scope buddy, very lucky to get that close to a crow to start with and you are a lot less accurate without a scope. The average air rifle will shoot just under 12ft lbs, which will allow you a good range up to about 35-40 yds (dependant of ability and experience).

    Regards

  • When zeroing do i need to put the zoom on my scope to full

  • @1keloso1 its an old Lazaglide from Venom Arms I belive! It´s a .22.

  • I was with my cousin in his goat shed with an air rifle capable of getting over 12ft lb, we saw a small crow or rook on the top of a 8 ft wall, we aproached it we got within 12 feet of it, I rested the rifle on my hand which was on top of a metal gate, I took aim (I was using the iron sights) I aimed at the base of its neck (it was facing slightly away from us) I shot it it fell to the floor and was still alive and had to be maually dispatched. Has anyone got any tips please?
