Standing Women 2008

Last year was amazing - tears flowed down our cheeks in the silent prayer, a prayer that stayed awake throughout the year. Mother to Mother, our eyes met; our hearts unified, one powerful mother energy for earth. Families gathered to create a wish for peace, abundance, good health, education, and to heal mother earth herself. It was a prayer shared on every level of life/country, a light-filled plea loud in the silent heart of every mother on earth - truly an honour to Mother's Day.

How touched I am as I watch this video. So proud of the women who took the time and the commitment to do the simple act of standing for peace. So simple; yet so powerful. Think of the impact if we could get even more to do so. I can think of no greater thing that we can do for ourselves on this Mother's Day.
