well said John. Too many people use trinkets to try and satisfy their need for completion, to attempt to fill that void within. But this void can only truly be filled by purpose and an understanding of themselves and their connection to everything else.

Our purpose is simply to live. We have separated ourselves from living with modern technology. We are on a dead end evolutionary path in which we will end up a machine-man being who will be far removed from the true nature of man -a smart animal.
We all think we are so above the animals yet you won't find them purposefully putting themselves in a cage as we do.

What is the purpose of life?

this is nonsense. Modern technology is a good thing because it allows our life to be more than merely "to live". No fucking thank you to toiling away just to survive. To hell with whatever stupid philosophy can justify that

yeah thats nice and toiling away everyday hunting and farming just enough food to keep breath in your body is soooo much better! (rolleyes)

It's sad how we have been reduced to slavery. Slaves for 5 days so we can have 48 hours off before we become slaves again for another 5 days. Why all that time spent working? So you can have a better car than Mr. Jones?
People now have to rely on others to grow, kill, and cook their food because they are too busy being slaves to even do life sustaining activities. Modern man has been reduced to literally as the elite put it "worthless eaters". They have no survival skills, only slavery skills.

Money buys one a piece of life, yet no amount will bring peace into ones life, as only that which is not for sale, can fill this void, thus . . .
To envy another's material wealth, is to squander that which creates ones own riches.
This video challenges these very days when our vehicles are loaded with trinkets in order to fill the emptiness inside. Let me urge you to take a breath and consider a simple life.
