Prop 8 opponents are screaming Civil Rights, Race Card, Tolerance, and Discrimination. Anything that they think will garner others to their side. Irregardless of the reality of it.

  • wow I am disappointed, I assumed that decades of oppression and inequality African Americans suffered through would make them supporters of same sex marriage because they themselves should understand what the LGBT community is going through

  • @thetruth6789 And for every 1 Homosexual sleeping assault (LOL) I can give you 5 cases of straight men drugging women with date rapes drugs.

I see you can't argue pedophilia anymore... so you've decided to branch out.

Without stats or source material, I might add.

  • One of the most nauseous moments in this video is when Dee Garrett speaks up in support of a movement backed by the same type of people who back in the 1950's and 1960's would have wanted to deny her the right to vote, the right to live where she wished to live, the right to marry whom she wanted to marry, the right to take the job she was qualified to fill and even the right to drink from a whites-only water fountain. She should be hanging her head in shame!

  • @MrImmoli I had to remove your comment for continual vulgarity and the hate was saddening too. this is antifamily. When will the No on Prop 8 people start to care about families and stop their hate?

  • I see the gay marriage debate more like the interracial marriage battle more so than the civil rights battle. Because both used such similar arguments it's sad to see that a debate about this sort of thing even exists.

  • @MrImmoli Your comment was removed for vulgarity. Vulgarity is antifamily. Why are the No on Prop 8 people antifamily?

  • @whoo689 See other comment directed towards you.

  • @whoo689 I had to remove your comment for profanity. Profanity is antifamily. Why are the no on prop 8 antifamily?

  • I can't believe any African American could say anything like this. Now you are the bigots. Prop 8 is about civil rights and you should be ashamed.

  • The only thing that would make me even more sick to my stomach is to see JEWS fighting against gay rights. JEWS of all people!

  • You've turned your backs on the fight for equality that many of you fought in person back in the day for your own narrow, petty "moral" views on marriage. I hope you realize the contradiction soon and come to your senses. Blacks have no moral authority voting for something like Prop 8. So it was ok for you to fight for YOUR rights back in the day, but god forbid gay people do?? It's OK for the Supreme Court to rule that whites and blacks can marry, but it can't do the same for gays?? FU
