UPDATES: I tried to move the buttons today and they did leave some residue. It can be almost completely removed with a pencil eraser, but to be safe use a screen protector before applying Sugru.

Note: Rubber cement does not re-stick the buttons very well but, I used some Art Skills Poster Tack, and that seems to work ok. I think it might work even better to leave the sugru buttons on the screen protector and just remove the protector when not playing games.

Also placing the buttons on the back and search keys did not work well after all. I think because the emulator can't customize the sensitivity of those buttons like it can for the on screen buttons.
