Jehovah's Witnesses are very quick to brand any and all who disagree with their faith an "apostate", and claim that the Bible backs them up on this. The term "apostate" strikes fear in the heart of Jehovah's Witnesses and their sympathizers, and is really a loaded term to make Jehovah's Witnesses stop thinking about the argument, and rather, fear the dangerous arguer.

This video takes a look at the 19 occasions that the word "apostate" appears in the Bible, 17 of which are in the Old Testament, so they apply only to those who leave the Jewish religion, as exemplified at Acts 21:21. The 2 occurences in the NT are analyzed.

  • ExGilead-I assumed you now believe the truth. So you don't believe in God now at all?

  • @Hizwilbdun No, I don't believe in imaginary beings like Zeus, Odin, Thor, or Yahweh. But I do believe in the One True God, the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

  • Ex- gileadmissionary, why do you say you don't belive in Jehovah?

  • @52flipflop For the sane reason you and I don't believe in Thor or Zeus.

  • @dmailgames Please see my video that answers this question.

  • Even I have a question. I myself am a JW but still don't understand why JWs teach that animals will die in the paradise. No debate on paraadise earth or in heaven. My point is if JWs say that humans will live forever in the new world, then why not animals? Is there any scripture which says so? Rev.21 says "death will be no more". If suppose animals would die, then obviously the problem of race extinction would be there leading to a solution called "evolution" - strongly against what bible says.

  • why do so many people grow beards when they leave the organization?? And why do JW's not wear them in the 1st place?? Wherez that found in the bible??

  • @ExGileadMissionary I find it quite interesting that a mind control organization like WTS can maintain their demonic spell on their ex-members. If you have been lied to why would one conclude that the false doctrine taught is true? Discover who Jesus really is: John 14:6; John 14:14; 1 Tim 3:15-16. Jesus is the answer not a man-made organization. Don't lose your salvation based on false teachings.

  • I google searched the original Greek word for Apostasy.Strongs Greek defines: apostasía (from aphístēmi, "leave, depart," which is derived from apó, "away from" and histémi, "stand").So the word literally means to "stand away from".I would say that the author of this video is definately "standing away from" Jehovah's Witnesses and their teachings(biblical or not). That makes this person an apostate.

  • apostasy is those how have no knowlege of the truth and just bash the bible...apostates are ones that have been witnesses and then left to form a relidion that suits them...you are readying the bible at face value..we will all see very soon at armagedon that jehovah is real

  • Great Video

  • @ZNG15 So the only reason that you don't lie, cheat, or steal is because you're afraid of the invisible hebrew god? I don't believe in Jehovah, but that doesn't mean that instantly I'm rushing out to rape, maim, loot, and kill. LOL
