@mthompsoNZ I believe that when the Bible was written and even through the centuries, people used it to satisfy their thirst for power and control. I believe the Bible is a fairy tale but with the ability to scare its 'children' by the threat of punishment. I believe that the Bible MAY tell the truth, but is 90% wrong about the story. I believe that Jesus was here, and that he truly believed in what he could do. But no alcohol, no sex before marriage, it is a way to control the world.

@Elfasbook I believe God has provided enough evidence in creation to prove He exists. I also believe the evidence for the Bible as the inspired, true word of the one true living God is overwhelming. The historical evidence of Jesus' death and resurrection is so compelling, that any court of law would accept it as fact.
What's left (if all this is true), is that God says (through the Bible) there is an afterlife, and your place in it depends on what you do with Jesus.

@mthompsoNZ Why should I live the life God wants me to live, instead of living the life I want to live? Why should I worry about what could happen in my 'possible' afterlife, which I'll never have proof of its existence until I die, more than my present life, which I know everything around me is real and all I've got for sure?

@Elfasbook The problem with that approach, is that, IF the Bible is true, then after you die there is a judgement, and the rules for who goes where are very clear. Getting there 'with questions' will not cut it with the judge. He'll tell you that the time for questions was during this life. And the answers are very easy to find. IF the Bible is true, His main question will be 'What did you decide about my Son?'

@mthompsoNZ ''Evolutionists people'' just have other kinna beliefs. Some of my friends think that there's nothing after death. But I don't. I always wondered where all this come from. Of course. Sometimes I believe it's the Big Bang, sometimes I believe we come from the monkeys etc. Sometimes I believe maybe it's something bigger, like ''God'', but not the ''biblical'' god. I have some questions, and some theories, but at the end of the day I'm okay with not having answers, and just theories.

@Elfasbook So please, do tell me, where did all this come from, in your opinion? Enjoy it, yes, but have you ever wondered? Sorry that I assumed that you are in the evolutionist's camp - as is so often the case, my assumption was wrong.

@mthompsoNZ Said I don't believe in God. Didn't say ''I believe that I'm a random accident of nature''. That is YOUR perception of what you read through my lines. Don't need to have your kind of faith to enjoy the beauty of our nature and the world. And please, you seriously think that people who don't believe in God think that the humanity comes from nothing and is going nowhere? Those are prejudices. We simply don't limit our beliefs to God. We're fine with only enjoying life for what it is.
