BAYSIDE Council's...no-stopping trial, forbidding cars parking from 6-10am on Saturdays and Sundays, begins on November 6th 2010
Bicycle Victoria president Harry Barber said the ban would protect cyclists on the popular riding route.
"The whole environment will operate much better," Mr Barber said.
"It will benefit everyone, not just cyclists.".
But residents against the no-stopping trial say the ban will just encourage training riders to go faster and bunch more.
