There's a lot of meaning behind the song. It's about Eddie's child abuse from his dad. Soon able to drive escaped it all. In a rearview mirror you look back and thats what eddie is talking about. looking back. when his dad used to beat him and then seeing his face on the mirror and finally escaping the abuse. thumbs up for eddie :)
