A little experiment, me trying to capture what my daily commute looks like, despite my obviously lousy camera equipment. I'm very much interested in what it must be like to use the train on a regular basis in other countries such as the US for instance, so I thought I'd show my audience on DeviantArt what it's like to actually use rail bound public transport in Germany. As you can see, despite me (and most Germans) always complaning about them, the DB does a quite decent job in getting you from A to B. Rolling stock is in good shape, trains are fast and mostly on time, seating is comfy, I guess we're better of than some, but worse than others, such as Japan and Switzerland.

If you want to see the photo-series about my daily commute, take a look here:

Thanks! :)

  • Hell yeah...Bombardier Traxx with Dosto is a great combination xD

By the way,the CNL train was EN 348/349 "Jan Kiepura" (Amsterdam-Warsaw) with through cars to Minsk and Moscow xD

  • As you might have guessed, I'd prefer to have a 111 in front of my train, though one wouldn't be able to tell the difference from inside. ;)

    Also, you're right! How'd you know? :D
