Improvised water bladder made from a ziploc bag and duct tape. This is an endurance test that has been going on for three months now hence the video.

    try covering it totally in the tape to help avoid punctures,

    not a bad emergency idea though

  • All of the tape is doubled over so that non of it touches the bag.

    Sticking tape to a plastic bag in my experiments has proven that this only degrades the life of the bag.

    better to treat your bag with TLC rather than mummify it within metres of duct tape

  • @spr00sem00se I covered an entire bag in duct tape and it worked very well until I intentionally dropped the bag. At that point the tape ripped away and tore some of the bag away with it. So, it will hold up well unless you drop it.
