You need gas

7.5 seconds to 60mph is pretty good for a suv.

Hey, love the SUV... i just have a few quick Q's... how would you say the sound system is? and do you get decent mileage? i want to get one, but im going from an 04 sentra to probably an 05-07 xterra, and the sentra gets like 24/30 ish

@pantstofry Ok so to answer your questions:
-The sound system is decent but could definitely be a lot better
-The mileage, if you don't floor it like I did and actually drive normal, is about 20mpg combined, which is pretty good for a 265hp beast ;)
but I would really recommend it..its a great SUV!! good off-road capabilities and loads of power for the size
hope this helped

@steyraug15 Hey thanks for the reply. I'm really torn, I love the SUV, but i think the hardest part will be going from like 30 mpg to 20... I'm trying to decide between the new altima coupe and the xterra... the thing is, right now im leaning toward the coupe, for the mileage and the fact that i dont go offroading much, nor do i need lots of space. But when winter comes around and im buried in snow i know i will lean toward the xterra. Gah, car shopping sucks sometimes ;)

@pantstofry yeah np! I mean sometimes I wish I had a smaller, sporty car too but then again I mostly prefer having the xterra cause I need the room and I love having the off road capability, even if I dont use it that much. And if you say that "when you are buried in snow" you will definitely be happy to have the xterra..i might even recommend the off road, 4x4 version then

@pantstofry well i have a pretty small budget, i don't really need the whole offroad package, but it'll definitely be 4x4... and now im pretty much decided i'll get one. I just gotta find a good one, theres like a $14k with 70k miles or a $19k with about 30... hmm... have you seen the new juke btw? i was considering that for a while, looks fun to drive but the MSRP might be a bit too much for me. plus 4x4 is probably better in the snow lol

@pantstofry Well the juke is smaller than the xterra..it would be too small for me. And yeah considering the MSRP you are probably better off with a nice used xterra than that.
