There are a few reasons for the variation: First, each time I have viewed Gary demonstrate the RT over the years, it has been different. Second, we decided to show this shortened version due to time constraints and ease of duplication. Third, as a massage therapist, I weave the RT into the sessions for my clients, and customize each massage with RT depending on specific concerns. I hope that adds clarity for you. I noticed that you don't do it exactly like Gary Young demonstrates it on his video. He adds more massage techniques by the spine after each oil.
