First of all please read the comment carefully. I made no mention of Serena so stop grouping them together as if they are one person. Whether other players love her or not is irrelevant, she isn't running for student council president. If other players hate her, its simply because they are jealous. Saying that you are happy when she loose only proves that you know that she is a legitimate treat in any competition. Grow up!!

No one moves on from a point more regally than Venus Williams. There is no over the top shouts of "come on", or over shaking of the fist. She simply adjusts her bra and moves on, even after the most explosive and dazzling of winners. Almost as if she herself is not impressed with her greatness. Love this girl!!

Yeah and maybe if the majority of these blonde amateurs focussed on their games as much as their looks, the sisters wouldn't give them the beat down everytime they meet. And Martina Hingis? don't make me laugh. Classic case of the child star turned train wreck.

Stanford final was one of the best matches of 2004, both Venus and Lindsay played amazing, but Lindsay was the better player. Right here at USO, everyone considers this a high-quality match.
Iin L.A. Venus retired, so I don't even count that match, really.

This was no question the worst year performance wise in Venus' career. Its hence the reason Lindsay won all their meetings in 2004.

Davenport should have won this tournament. She had dominated all summer and was up a set and a break against Kuznetsova in the semis. She would have hammered Dementieva in the final.
